to all future circumnavigators, does not apply to those "in progress." All sailors planning a circumnavigation who wish to be included on the Slocum list of Circumnavigators must be members of the Society prior to setting off and advise the Secretary of their voyaging plans, as nearly as possible. On completion the Society's Golden Circle committee will meet and avise each candidate (sailor) whether he or she qualified for the Golden Circle Award. Please e-mail the Society for more detailed information on "qualifying."
